Storyline
Gautam, a novelist leads a reclusive life in Ooty. Gautam's latest novel is titled RangiTaranga, a word which might hold the key to his past. Indu, a soft natured girl, paints the cover pages of all Gautam's novels. Sandhya, a self proclaimed journalist, is in search of an anonymous writer who goes by the pen name "ANASHKU". Unforeseen circumstances lead Gautam to Indu's ancestral home in the village of Kamarottu. Upon his arrival in Kamarottu, he befriends the post master, Kalinga, and the elderly school head master, Shankara. Gautam experiences a lot of strange occurrences and his investigation into these incidents irks the powerful men in the village. Meanwhile, Sandhya's trail leads her to Kamarottu. Someone has written this as goof "The village Kamarottu is told to be in the Dakshina Kannada (Mangalore) district of Karnataka. However the car that the lead pair take to reach Kamarottu bears the registration number of Kerala (this can be seen towards the end of the song "Dennana Dennana")." But in my opinion it is totally fine to drive Kerala registered vehicle in Karnataka. I have seen many Puducherry registered private vehicles in Dhawarad and Belagavi districts. Moreover Kerala is neighboring state of Dakshina Kannada. So it is not factual error.See more »

Hello, My Name is Ghulam Abbas. I'm a Student a FSC In Degree collage new dera township.
When the movie reaches the climax, and you get a hang of everything, you can almost hear that collective sigh of relief from everyone - for the mystery, that kept everyone speculate among each other for more than two hours, that was finally revealed, and for the happy realization that the money paid for the movie was pretty damn worth it.
Could have shortened the movie a little bit, and this is possibly the only thing one would find, if they dig deep to find a negative about the film.
What are you waiting for? Go watch RANGITARANGA. Here is a potential 100-150 day movie. Make it reach there. I am watching again for sure. Sakkath movie guru!
